Chihli. Kuang-hsü 20 Cash ND (1906) MS62 Brown PCGS, Pei Yang Arsenal mint, KM-Y68, CCC-309, CL-BY.07, Duan-1114. Variety with large lettering on reverse (obverse as holdered), and 5 rows of scales. Incredibly fleeting quality for this issue which quite simply does not enter into Mint State certification with any regularity whatsoever, the vast majority of survivors coming at least minorly circulated. Indeed, only around 5% of the certified population has been granted problem-free, Uncirculated status. For the sake of comparison, the nearest example we have previously offered was an MS63 Brown, which achieved $5760 in our July 2020 HKINF sale.
