Chihli. Kuang-hsü Dollar Year 23 (1897) AU Details (Chop Mark) PCGS, Pei Yang Arsenal mint, KM-Y65.1, L&M-444, Kan-186, WS-0610. Triangle and round eyes, long horns variety. An elusive variety of this already scarce issue, one that comes hotly contested in any state of preservation, let alone approaching Mint State status. While precluded from a straight grade due to a single chop mark and handling wisps, the piece remains a desirable early relic of Chihli coinage.
