Sinkiang. Hsüan-t'ung 5 Miscals (5 Mace) ND (1910) AU58 NGC, Sinkiang mint, KM-Y6.6 (1905), L&M-819A, Kann-1015 (1905), Xinjiang Numismatics-428, Hsien-Chang-210. Type with circle around dragon and 8-petalled flower on obverse (reverse as holdered). Not at all a common grade for what is almost universally a poorly produced type, with NGC's census recording just 6 specimens currently certified in Mint State. Still quite lustrous throughout the fields, clear concentric machining marks fill the open expanses, allowing room for noticeably few surface marks. The second nicest representative of this "monkey-face" dragon type we have presented.
