FEC, Im Abschnitt: "ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE FEIER DER ENTHÜLLUNG 21 SEPT. 1861. Umschrift "DANKBAR WUERDIG DER SOHN, WAS LIEBE D. VOLKES GESCHAFFEN", 146,1g, Brockmann 1087, vz-st. Das Reiterstandbild wurde 1861, zehn Jahre nach dem Tod König Ernst Augusts, feierlich eingeweiht. Es steht seitdem vor dem Hauptbahnhof von Hannover.
