(2), xv, (1) pages; 90 embossed plates with facing leaves printed on one side + (4), 532 pages. Bindings somewhat rubbed; hinges cracked, but binding sound. Plates free of darkening. Very good or better. An above-average set of this impressive work, illustrated with 90 exceptional embossed plates depicting gold and silver coins of the world. As discussed by Kirby Brown in the Fall 1984 issue of The Asylum, this guidebook to modern world coins went through many editions, only the first of which (issued in parts) identified Fort as the author.
