A rare catalogue of a small but exquisite collection, illustrated on five photographically printed (collotype) plates. William Berman Sedgwick-Berend was only 29 at the time of his death, but his collection is described by Hess in the introduction as highly important, consisting only of exceptional German, Italian and Swiss coins.
