Binding somewhat rubbed; spine sunned and toned brown; a Volume XIV plate has been trimmed and tipped in. Very good. Four volumes of the AJN, with the publication still in its youth and mostly consisting of short articles on a wide variety of subjects with ongoing serials comprising the connecting sinew. The brevity of many of the articles can be misleading, though, as careful readers have found many forgotten nuggets of information buried within them. W.S. Appleton, H.W. Holland and W.T.R. Marvin continue to appear as regular contributors, and Volume XIV begins R.W. McLachlan's important work on Canadian numismatics, which would eventually appear in book form.
