No publisher's imprint. 8vo, contemporary brown half morocco with marbled sides; spine with five raised bands, lettered in gilt; printed endpapers; all page edges marbled. Lithographic frontispiece. vi, (9)-367, (43) pages, complete; text illustrations, some of them full-page; 7 additional plates, engraved and lithographic (some tinted), including a sample note plate printed by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson opposite page 227 that is printed in their patent green ink. Frontispiece and first leaf detached from spine; binding rubbed; still a near fine copy with little of the spotting and browning generally seen. Very good or better. The final edition of this important book on Cincinnati, and the scarcest of the three. This edition features an engraved sample note of Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, printed in their patent green ink, opposite page 227 in this copy.
