Cogan, Edward. AUCTION SALE CATALOGUES. New York: Bangs, 1858-1879. Forty-two different catalogues: Adams Nos. 23, 25-26, 28-36, 38-40, 43-57, and 59-70. Sales 44, 46, 48, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 66 and 70 are hand-priced. Sale 28 has printed prices realized clipped and pasted into the margins. Varying formats, nearly all 8vo in original printed paper covers. Generally very good or better. A strong set of later Cogan catalogues, lacking only six catalogues for completion in this period. A number of the catalogues here present are very scarce, with Sale 23 being downright rare. Several of them merit an overall rating of A or A- by Adams. Ex Cardinal Collection Library.
