Haym, Nicholao Francisco. THESAURI BRITANNICI. PARS ALTERA, SEU MUSEUM NUMARIUM, COMPLEXUM NUMOS GR®COS, ET LATINOS OMNIS METALLI, ET FORM® NECDUM EDITOS... INTERPRETE JOSEPHO KHELL E S.J. Vindobon¾: Typis Joannis Thom¾ de Trattnern, 1765. (28), 398, (10) pages; 51 engraved foldout plates of coins. [bound with] Khell von Khellburg, Joseph, and Jacob Gessner. ADPENDICULA ALTERA AD NUMISMATA GR®CA, POPULORUM ET URBIUM A JACOBO GESNERO, TABULIS ®NEIS REPR®SENTATA. AUTORE JOSEPHO KHELL E S.J. Vindobon¾: Typis, Joannis Thom¾ de Trattner, 1764. 168 pages; 4 engraved foldout plates of coins. Two works bound in one volume. 4to, contemporary full vellum; spine with hand-lettered label; all page edges red. Occasional spotting, but generally clean; binding somewhat discolored. Very good or better. Haym intended to publish a corpus of Greek and Roman coins in English collections, with notes on rarity, but only two parts were published (the first part is not present here). This later edition appears to be scarcer than the first edition, published 1719-1720. Dekesel H165, Volume II, Issue II. Lipsius 178. Manville 167, noting the value of the provenances included within. The second work is Dekesel K77. Lipsius 147 & 208.

Estimate: 300 USD
