Gaius (Caligula), with Agrippina Senior, AD 37-41. AV aureus (19,5 mm; 7,50 g). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint, struck AD 37-38. Laureate head of Gaius right / Draped bust of Agrippina Senior right, her hair waved and tied in a long plait behind neck. Banker's mark on reverse and very minor edge filing. Small spot of deposits on obverse. An attractive coin with two fine portraits.
