Probus, AD 276-282. AV aureus (21 mm; 5,04 g). Serdica mint, struck circa AD 280. Laureate and cuirassed bust seen slightly from front, wearing aegis on breast plate / Roma seated left on throne decorated with a shield, holding Victory and resting on grounded scepter. Flan slightly creased and repaired hole at 9 o'clock. A small scratch in reverse field. A heroic and impressive portrait of Probus.
